On the 2nd of October, 2024 which is celebrated as Gandhi Jayanthi in India and International Non-violence Day world over, the 3rd World March for Peace and Non-violence started symbolically from Costa Rica which is the first nation to abolish its Army after the 2nd World War.
In these trying and testing times, world leaders are faced with an obvious choice between a 3rd World War of annihilation and our 3rd World March for Peace and Non-violence.
Art for Peace is an Activity, organized by World Without Wars and Without Violence in collaboration with likeminded organizations, including the Rotary Club of Coimbatore Uptown, also officially initiated on the 2nd of October,2024, in support of the 3rd World March for Peace and Non-violence, reminding all the people concerned to reunite as one human race, in an atmosphere of co-operation rather than that of competition and/or confrontation.
The Art for Peace Activity is also conducted in the same spirit where all participants are winners with a certificate from World Without Wars and Without Violence, currently in collaboration with Globalart, Coimbatore; The Humanist Club, Madurai and Youngistaan -Youth for Society, Tirupati.
Initially, certificates were distributed to the participants in the Globalart campus at Hope College, Coimbatore to symbolically raise the Hopes of Humanity, for a better future…
