On the 5th of March, at 7 pm, in the Annette Cabelli space (Ribera de Curtidores, 2 – Madrid), a meeting will occur between women who will talk about themselves and their social actions. The event is organized by Convergencia de las Culturas.
It is an event in which we want to acknowledge the experiences of different women in the field of social action, to give us the strength to continue moving forward, and to inspire us with different ideas of expression and communication.
Every day we feel the great rejection of physical violence, wars, economic violence, discrimination, and racial, sexual, religious, and psychological violence… We need a cultural change in which all forms of violence are rejected and the values of good treatment, care, and non-violence are emphasized.
At the meeting on 5 March, we want to highlight the fundamental contribution of women in creating a culture of non-violence. In a cruel world, nonviolence will be presented as the force that will transform the world.
An activity organized by Convergence of Cultures – Madrid, an organization of the Humanist Movement that works for dialogue and the meeting of cultures and non-discrimination.
The meeting will take place on Tuesday 5th March from 7 pm to 9 pm at the Annette Cabelli Room, 2 Ribera de Curtidores Street. The activity is open to everyone.
