Faced with the delicate situation that the Venezuelan people are experiencing today, as Acción Humanista we join the calls of the international community and of governments, parties and sectors of the left and progressives of various countries that raise the need to clear up the doubts that exist around the recent elections in that country, since it is essential that the result of this electoral process be known with total transparency.
We call on all political sectors in Venezuela to respect democratic processes in a broad and pluralistic manner, leaving aside all forms of violence. In addition, we express our firm support for the call for democratic dialogue made by governments such as those of Colombia, Brazil, Mexico or President Gabriel Boric himself in Chile.
As humanists we cannot remain indifferent to human suffering and that is why our central call to all political sectors is to stop all forms of violence. Nothing justifies the loss of human life.
