We live in a dangerous time. The old idea that there could be a winner in today’s war between Russia and the West is a fantasy of the West, according to Professor Jeffrey Sachs.
So why has the Biden administration authorized Ukraine to use US-supplied long-range missiles for deeper strikes inside Russia? According to the president of Ukraine, President Putin has the intention to invade other countries. The Ukrainian government has disseminated this information since the beginning of the war in 2021. But isn’t true? Or is this a point of view shared by various organizations and governments who don’t want more Russian influence in the world? Is this the point of view shared by governments and security agencies who want to maintain the world order under a certain collective fear and paranoia ?
In a conference given two weeks ago at Cambridge College, processor Jeffrey Sachs explained how the US and the European allies have been promoting an old idea since the fall of the Berlin Wall: that there could be a winner and a loser in a war between Russia and the West. Sachs explained that the West neglected the idea that we are living in a nuclear age and a nuclear war, there will be no winner and no loser. Sachs also explained how the various institutions created after the Second World War have been promoting fear and paranoia toward Russia for decades and have censored historical facts.
The Biden administration is making the wrong move
The people have to realize that there will be no global peace based on fear, paranoia, and threat. We must realize that fear and paranoia have been transferred by many leaders to us, the honorable citizens. For decades they have train us in distrust one another.
We have to realize that there will be no global peace from a vision of life where governments are struggling with one another to have more influence in our lives. Global peace will come when governments work with each other for the well-being of humanity.
We have to tell governments and leaders: “There will be no global peace by manipulating public opinion or by censoring true historical facts”!
