Introduction
The following article is written in the form of a short letter to members of the US Democratic Party.
Hey Fellow Democrats,
The current US president, the one we voted for, is openly attempting to start a World War with a month left in his term. The AMERICAN military has just been green lighted by the Biden administration to operate long range rockets into Russia.(1)(2) Meanwhile Russia has, as of yesterday, upped its nuclear arsenal’s readiness level to 100%.(3) That’s the highest level in its history. If the US forces a war to start with Russia, we will be at war with China as well.
I ask you, what is the endgame in all of this? To inflict a parting round of civilian casualties on Russian citizens before this war closes down? Or maybe it’s to quickly generate a level of global conflict that’ll outlast the incoming administration’s term in office? Russia wants to end the war. The incoming US administration wants to end the war. Ukraine lost the war a year ago, for all intents and purposes, and EVERYONE in the Biden administration knows it.(4) Is this final show of “force” worth risking global nuclear destruction for?
Lastly: The fact that so few of us (Democrats) are speaking out about this obviously insane last minute round of escalation illustrates a tremendous lack of character within our party. We absolutely must drop the “blue no matter what they do” cult-speak. A lot of you have kids. Do you want them to inherit a World War that’s being instigated by a throng of neocon ideologues for no other reason than the fact that their corporate weapons manufacturing donors and globalist land investors want it?
It’s time to leave our Democratic party’s poisoned 21st Century war-centered doctrine/agenda behind. We’ve become the party of war, of duplicity, of ignorance. We’ve gotta completely overhaul our game plan and our roster.
Remember, you’re a Human Being first, not a Democrat first.
