Dr. Genevieve B. Kupang engaged the APPSAM administrators, mentors, parents and student leaders with a creative rap-song titled ‘Think Before You Click,’ blending rhythm and melody to emphasize the importance of responsible and accountable use of modern technology.

Verse 1 (Rapped): The Power of a Click
A single click, so quick, so small,
Can build a bridge or make us fall.
It opens doors to worlds so wide,
But with great care, we must decide.

Chorus (Sung):
Think before you click and relay,
What you post is here to stay.
Be kind, be smart, helpful and inspiring,
Let your choice be the truth that shines!

Repeat Chorus with some variations:

Think before you click away,
What you post is here to stay.
Be kind, be smart, and take your time,
Let your choices always shine!

Verse 2: The Digital Footprint
Your footprint’s there for all to see,
A mark of who you choose to be.
So pause and think—don’t rush to share,
Protect yourself and show you care.

Chorus:
Think before you click and relay,
What you post is here to stay.
Be kind, smart, and take your time,
Let your choices always shine! (2x)

Verse 3: Responsibility Online
Respect each friend, each face, each name,
No cyberbullying—it’s not a game.
Balance gadgets with life outside,
Stay healthy, happy—full of pride!

Bridge:
Parents and teachers are here to guide,
To help us walk the web with pride.
Together we’ll learn the rules so true,
To make the internet safe for you!

Final Chorus:
Think before you click away,
What you post is here to stay.
Be kind, be smart, and take your time,
Let your choices always shine!

Designed to be fun and engaging for young learners, this blend of rap and traditional song elements reinforced essential lessons about responsibility and accountability in using technology. Dr. Kupang noted with delight how teachers and parents joined the children in singing along, making the activity both memorable and impactful.
