The President of the Metropolitan Teachers’ Association, Mario Aguilar, in view of the results of the National Teachers’ Consultation, warned the Minister of Education, Nicolás Cataldo, not to remove it from his mind. “Read the vote well, the vast majority rejected your proposal, as it is basically more of the same”.
The union leader added “Minister do not remove it, in the teachers there is a profound discomfort with a government that has not fulfilled its promises”.
Regarding the end of the strike, he pointed out that the National Directorate never had the conviction to carry out the strike and was dedicated to delaying everything.
